Most XT5s you'll find wear the 2.0-liter turbo four. This one has the 3.6L V6 — 310 horsepower, the engine Cadillac charged extra for, paired to a nine-speed automatic. It's the version that actually moves the way a Cadillac ought to.

Also documented within the past twelve months, before we owned it: a fuel pump module replaced in August 2025 at 46,930 miles, and a washer pump replaced in April 2026 at 50,766 miles — both at Williamson Cadillac. That was a Cadillac dealership's work, not ours. We're telling you it was done; we're not claiming credit for it. The fuel pump is the notable one — it's a real failure part, it's already been addressed, and it was addressed at a franchise Cadillac store.

📋 VEHICLE HISTORY (FULL TRANSPARENCY)

This one needs a real explanation, so here it is.

It started as a rental. CARFAX shows this XT5 was titled as a rental vehicle in December 2019 and spent its first eleven months and roughly 11,000 miles in that service in Oklahoma and Florida. It then moved through the wholesale channel and was retailed in March 2021 as a Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned vehicle — meaning it passed Cadillac's factory CPO inspection standards before that sale. From there it was privately owned in Miami and serviced at Williamson Cadillac continuously through April 2026.

A note on the "1-Owner" badge. CARFAX designates this a 1-Owner vehicle. It also flags it as a non-personal-use vehicle. Both are accurate, and we'd rather explain the tension than let you discover it. CARFAX's ownership count registered the rental company as the owner of record; the subsequent private owner didn't generate a separate owner count in their system. So: treat this as a former rental that was later privately owned and dealer-maintained for five years, because that's what the detailed records actually show.

Damage and accident history — three events, all disclosed:

• 08/10/2020 — damage reported during the rental period. CARFAX provides no severity rating and no detail on this event. We can't tell you more than that, and we won't guess.
• 01/27/2025 — accident, minor damage. The vehicle was rear-ended by another motor vehicle. Damage to the rear. Airbags did not deploy.
• 02/18/2026 — accident, minor damage. Rear-ended again. Damage to the rear. Airbags did not deploy.

Both 2025 and 2026 events are rated minor on CARFAX's scale — its lowest tier, which it describes as generally cosmetic damage that typically does not compromise a vehicle's operation or safety. In both cases the damage was to the rear and this vehicle was the one struck. Across all three events, CARFAX reports no structural damage, no airbag deployment, and no total loss.

What we cannot tell you: CARFAX does not report a body shop or repair invoice for any of the three events. We won't pretend to know how the repairs were performed or by whom. What we can tell you is that this vehicle went through our own 90-point inspection and road test, and through the reconditioning listed above, before it was listed.

Factory warranty. All original Cadillac coverage — basic, drivetrain, corrosion, and roadside — has expired. Our Quality Plus coverage described below is Carma's own, separate from anything Cadillac provided.

Expected wear. Six years, 51,000 miles, and a life that began in rental service. Expect cosmetic wear consistent with that.
