⚠️ READ THIS FIRST — TOTAL LOSS, AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT, AND A SERVICE-RECORD GAP
This vehicle has the most complicated history of anything on our lot right now, and you are going to read all of it before you read a single word of sales copy. Three things:
1. Collision and insurance total loss (05/15/2019). CARFAX reports an accident with another motor vehicle rated moderate to severe, with damage to the right front, right side, right rear, rear, and roof. The vehicle was towed from the scene and a side airbag deployed. The same day, an insurance company declared it a total loss, and on 06/13/2019 the title was issued to that insurance company at 24,209 miles. Two earlier minor damage reports also appear, on 09/22/2017 and 04/09/2019.
2. A 134,000-mile gap in the service record. The last service reported to CARFAX before this year was in June 2020 at 28,358 miles. The next entry is a Georgia emissions inspection on 05/30/2026 at 162,646 miles. That means roughly 134,000 miles were driven with no maintenance reported to CARFAX at all. Work may well have been performed and simply never reported — that is common with independent shops — but we cannot show you documentation we do not have, and we are not going to imply otherwise.
3. An open Lexus service campaign. Campaign #20LC02 covers certain 2016–2019 RX 350 and RX 450h models where the front inside door handles may break with repeated forceful use. This is a service campaign, not a safety recall. Lexus lists the remedy as available, and any authorized Lexus dealer will replace both front inside door handles free of charge. CARFAX shows no record of it having been performed on this vehicle.
And here is the other side of that ledger, stated just as plainly:
• The title is NOT branded. CARFAX guarantees no salvage, junk, rebuilt, fire, flood, hail, or lemon brand on this vehicle, across both prior owners. An insurance company declares a total loss when repair estimates cross a percentage of the car's pre-damage value; that threshold is easy to clear on a late-model Lexus with body and airbag damage, and it does not automatically produce a branded title. This one did not.
• CARFAX reports no structural damage from either owner, and no odometer problems — the 162,646 miles are the real miles.
• It passed Georgia emissions inspection on 05/30/2026 at its current mileage.
• CARFAX does not document the collision repair. A deployed side airbag must be properly replaced by a qualified technician, and we would want any buyer to verify that work independently rather than take anyone's word for it. See the inspection section below — on this vehicle we are not just permitting a pre-purchase inspection, we are asking you to get one.
The Case For It
With all of that on the table: this is a Lexus RX 350 F Sport, and the reason people put 162,000 miles on these is that the 3.5L V6 and eight-speed automatic are among the most durable luxury drivetrains ever built. Silver over black leather, F Sport trim with the adaptive suspension, sport seats, unique grille and wheels. It came from Park Place Lexus in Plano with proper franchise maintenance every 5,000 miles through its lease life, and it still carries its original owner's books. This is a lot of luxury SUV for someone who reads the history above, prices it accordingly, and gets it inspected — and a poor choice for someone who wants a car with no questions attached. We would rather sell it to the first person.
